Benzoyl Peroxide is scary, huh?
The
problem here is, the most I can do here is giving you quick tips
and share some methods for your skin well-being; but because they
won’t be shaped like a strict program, I can’t guarantee
any results. However, you can rest assured that you have nothing
to lose by applying the methods I will share here. They are always
natural and always healthy for your skin - so don’t worry,
you’re safe with me!
Benzoyl
Peroxide
Whoa whoa whoa - that doesn’t sound very natural! Aren’t
we supposed to stay away from chemicals? Especially from using
them on our sensitive faces?
The answer
to that question is, “usually“. The term “chemical”
is actually a bit open to interpretation - if we are to take
it literally, we won’t be abel to touch anything - because
everything is “chemical”, that is, everything is made
from atoms and molecules, right?
Now, you
wouldn’t want to wash your face with hydrochloric acid,
but benzoyl peroxide is actually not a super toxic chemical.
The versions of it sold are highly diluted (to about 2.5%),
so there’s no danger of melting your skin or something!
If you haven’t
achieved any results from more natural methods (try the steaming
method for SURE! it works wonders. Check my previous blog post.)
you should give benzoyl peroxide a try. It’s an over-the-counter
medication, really.
The most
I heard is people getting excessively dry skin after its use,
but it’s hardly very important. The success rate of benzoyl
peroxide treatment is very high - definitely worth a shot.
